Leaving a Legacy Codebase

Text on the meme

LEAVING A LEGACY... CODEBASE

What it means

The left panel shows Mr. Incredible smiling proudly under the caption “LEAVING A LEGACY...”, while the right panel shows a grim black-and-white face labeled “CODEBASE.” The joke is that leaving behind a codebase is presented as a lasting legacy, even though it may be an ominous burden for whoever maintains it.
