Queer Coded This Cat

So you're telling me a queer coded this

A serious-looking gray-and-white cat stares directly at the camera indoors, wearing a small bell collar. The caption humorously reacts to discovering that something was made by a queer person, using the phrase “queer coded” as an exaggerated accusation or observation. It is sent as a reaction to media, art, or behavior that feels subtly queer or unexpectedly queer-associated.
