Where Is the Compose Button?

This is what my gmail looks like these days. It took me, and I shit you not, MINUTES to find the "compose" new email button. What fresh hell is this? Hahahahaha! Tell me, where is it? Is it they keyboard icon? 🤪 No! You need to hover the “mail” icon which is BOTH a tab switcher AND popup menu fml

A Twitter thread jokes about Gmail’s redesigned interface, where the sender struggles to find the new email button and explains that the confusing mail icon is both a tab switcher and a popup menu. The punchline is the absurdly unintuitive design and the frustration of needing minutes to discover a basic function.
