Missing Gold GPU Connector

Text on the meme

So is it supposed to be missing the gold piece that connects to the mobo?

What it means

A close-up photo of a graphics card shows an apparently missing section of the gold connector contacts. The joke is that the poster is seriously asking whether this damaged-looking GPU is supposed to be built that way, making it a relatable reaction to confusing or broken computer hardware.
