Alpha Males Are Unstable

When men refer to themselves as "alpha males", I hear that in the context of software, where alpha versions are unstable, missing important features, filled with flaws, and not fit for the public.

A screenshot of a social media post jokes that men who call themselves “alpha males” resemble unstable alpha software: incomplete, buggy, and not ready for public use. It is sent as a sarcastic reaction to macho posturing and toxic masculinity.
