Birds Relaxing to Bird Sounds
MY BABIES! SOMEBODY ATE MY BABIES! I ATE THEM AND I'LL EAT THEM AGAIN NEXT YEAR! RELAXING BIRD SOUNDS
A black-and-white comic shows a distressed bird mourning its babies, while another bird smugly admits eating them and plans to do it again next year. In the final panel, a bald person listens to relaxing bird sounds on headphones while reading a booklet, unaware that the sounds come from the birds’ sinister conversation. The joke comes from the absurd contrast between peaceful relaxation media and cannibalistic bird behavior.
