Fish Keeps Moving Forward

Text on the meme

Everything is gonna be okay Keep moving forward Or just crash out

What it means

A fish wearing black sneakers glides and bounces through a low-poly mountain landscape at sunset while pink motivational captions appear: “Everything is gonna be okay,” “Keep moving forward,” and finally “Or just crash out.” The joke is the sudden shift from uplifting encouragement to blunt resignation as the fish seems destined to fail; Koji Kondo’s “Princess Zelda,” a whimsical video game music track, makes the absurd journey feel oddly epic and serene.
