Why Are You Still Here, Cowgirl?

Text on the meme

Cowboy Cowgirl why are you still here?

What it means

A four-panel meme video labels the left side “Cowboy” and the right side “Cowgirl.” A cowboy riding through a desert appears briefly, then vanishes, while an unimpressed neutral-face emoji appears under “Cowgirl” and asks, “why are you still here?” Lawrence Welk and His Orchestra’s jaunty western song “Riders in the Sky” adds an exaggerated old-fashioned cowboy mood, making the sudden disappearance and awkward question funnier. It works as a reaction to someone who keeps lingering after the conversation or situation is clearly over.
