Releasing My Creatures

releasing my creatures

A group of people wearing cat-ear headbands, cat tails, white tops, and dark skirts or red pants are released into a busy gaming or convention hall, where they move among rows of computer stations and colorful displays. The caption jokingly frames the costumed group as someone’s “creatures” being unleashed, turning ordinary convention attendees into a playful herd of cats. The dreamy alternative-rock song “Duvet” by bôa adds an oddly dramatic, melancholic soundtrack that makes their coordinated wandering feel theatrical and absurd.
