Text on the meme

Taking a Picture Girls: Boys:

What it means

A split-panel meme contrasts girls taking a picture as a crowded, playful group selfie with boys posing calmly with thumbs up in an industrial store. The joke exaggerates stereotypical differences between elaborate, chaotic girls’ photos and simple boys’ photos, making it useful as a reaction to contrasting social behavior.
