Walking Home After Seeing Taxi Price

Text on the meme

Me: “I’m so tired, will take a taxi home” Also me after checking a taxi price:

What it means

James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2 walks away from a town and into a foggy forest after seeing how expensive a taxi is. The joke exaggerates avoiding the taxi by choosing an ominous, exhausting walk through Silent Hill instead. The melancholic ambient track “children” by Inei & Pandora makes the reaction feel dramatically tragic and absurd.
