Metaverse Legs Ad

Text on the meme

Every ad for the metaverse is like, “are you ready for the Nintendo wii?!?!” Legs are coming soon! Are you excited? 🎉

What it means

A virtual-reality party scene shows avatars celebrating the announcement that legs are finally coming to the metaverse. The joke mocks how basic features are marketed as revolutionary breakthroughs, comparing the announcement to an overexcited Nintendo Wii advertisement.
