A fake Amazon prize popup promising a gift card, iPhone, or Samsung Galaxy stays on screen while Cristiano Ronaldo walks through a glamorous FIFA awards audience, greeting people and embracing a man. The upbeat song “Stereo Hearts” by Gym Class Heroes featuring Adam Levine plays over the scene, making the scam notification feel absurdly triumphant. The joke is used as a reaction to suspicious links, scam messages, or the ridiculous excitement of supposedly winning something online.
