I Can Breathe Underwater

Text on the meme

You can't breathe under water. Yes I can. ....O I want to kill myself

What it means

Two young women joke about being able to breathe underwater, then one places a bottle over the other woman’s mouth and nose. The final reaction, “I want to kill myself,” expresses exaggerated frustration at the painfully literal interpretation of the challenge and is used as a darkly humorous reaction to someone taking words too literally.
