Facebook Memories Gone Wrong

Text on the meme

Your Memories on Facebook We care about you and the memories you share here. We thought you'd like to look back on this post from 3 years ago.

What it means

A Facebook memory reminder displays an old four-panel clip of a bearded man pouring an entire container of liquid into his open mouth, ending in a chaotic splash all over his face. The joke is the contrast between Facebook’s sentimental “look back” message and a ridiculous, messy post from years ago, making it a reaction to embarrassing old memories resurfacing.
