Gerrymandering as Modern Art

I love gerrymandering and congress is my canvas I give my favorite precincts to my friends and draw the other guys out of a job I made it special just for daddy the old maps were boring anyways might as well spice them up for the next election fair representation is important after all

A colorful animated map of Texas and surrounding areas rapidly reshapes into increasingly bizarre electoral districts while captions parody a politician enthusiastically defending gerrymandering. The punchline is the absurd contrast between cheerful, self-congratulatory language about “art” and “fair representation” and the manipulative practice of drawing districts to favor friends, remove opponents, and influence elections. Queen’s upbeat “Don’t Stop Me Now” makes the montage feel triumphant and energetic, intensifying the satire.

I love Jerry Mandarin. Voters are my paintbrush. And Congress is my canvas. When I draw districts, I give my favorite precincts to my friends, and draw the other guys out of a job. Isn't this map pretty? I made it special just for daddy. So many pickup opportunities. The old maps were boring anyways. Might as well spice them up for the next election. Share representation is important after all.
