LIFE AFTER THAT ONE PENGUIN EDIT

What it means

A rapid black-and-white montage shows different men looking devastated: one lies in a hospital bed, another sits in a tuxedo, others appear injured, exhausted, lonely in the snow, and finally a drummer plays with intense emotion. The caption jokes that watching a particularly sad “penguin edit” leaves someone emotionally destroyed, while ABBA’s dramatic song “The Winner Takes It All” amplifies the melodrama and turns the montage into an exaggerated reaction meme.
