Smoking Deaths Counter Hits Zero

Smoking deaths this year: 444,947 and counting.

A nighttime crowd gathers in the street, filming a large public billboard that reads “Smoking deaths this year: 444,947 and counting.” As Princess Chelsea’s “Cigarette Duet” plays, the displayed number is obscured and then appears to drop to 0, creating an absurdly cheerful reaction to a grim smoking-death statistic. The contrast between the ominous message, the crowd’s excitement, and the catchy music makes it a darkly ironic reaction video.
