Undiagnosed ADHD While Writing
One of the weirdest things about this movie is I was writing [it] and I was like... 'I think the main character should have undiagnosed ADHD' I think that just makes sense So I started doing research because I wanted to do it right, y'know? And then at like 4AM I'm crying in bed like '... I think I have undiagnosed ADHD.'
A filmmaker speaks into a microphone during a panel discussion, explaining how researching an ADHD character led him to suspect that he also has undiagnosed ADHD. The joke is the escalating self-recognition and late-night realization that the research became an accidental self-diagnosis.
