Frieren Gets Away With It

Text on the meme

>actually some races are just evil and if you let them appeal to your empathy they will destroy you How did Frieren get away with this?

What it means

An image of the elf mage Frieren from *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End*, shown with a serious expression and a dark object in the foreground. The joke criticizes the series’ depiction of demons as inherently evil while Frieren herself is accepted sympathetically despite being an elf, playing on accusations of racial double standards. It is sent as a sarcastic reaction to discussions about fantasy races, prejudice, and the series’ moral framing.
