What it means

A Finnish-looking scholar studies a laptop at a desk surrounded by historical and fantasy imagery, while Frieren reads a book titled “Homo Fennicus.” The joke presents Finnish identity and culture as an ancient, mysterious species being examined like an anthropological subject.
