What it means

A tree is covered with loud-looking cicadas, followed by repeated green text imitating the opening of a Japanese visual novel. The joke is that instead of dialogue or romance, the only event is an overwhelming chorus of cicada noises, making it useful as an absurd reaction to repetitive screaming or summer noise.
