君はジェダイになれない

高校の時マジで授業聞かなすぎて先生に怒られた んだけど、課題を大量に出すぞ、とか教室から出 ていけ、じゃなくて「君はジェダイになれない」 って真っ直ぐ目を見て言われたのが今でもなぜか 心に刺さっていて、スターウォーズ関連を見る度 に「そういえば、自分はジェダイになれないん だ」って…… Back in high school I was terrible at paying attention in class that my teacher got mad at me. But instead of saying something like, “I’ll give you tons of homework” or “Get out of the classroom,” he just looked me straight in the eye and said “You’ll never become a Jedi.” For some reason, those words really stuck with me. Even now whenever I see something related to star wars I find myself thinking, “Oh right... I can’t become a Jedi.”
