Horse of Lies and Deceit

Text on the meme

“Are you the horse of truth and affirmation?” The horse of lies and deceit:

What it means

A horse thrusts its head and neck through a stable door, twisting and thrashing dramatically behind the caption “The horse of lies and deceit.” The joke treats the horse’s chaotic movement as proof that it is the opposite of a noble “horse of truth and affirmation,” making it a reaction to dishonesty, chaotic behavior, or melodramatic betrayal. Björk’s experimental art-pop song “Pagan Poetry” gives the clip an intense, surreal, melancholy atmosphere that makes the horse’s antics feel absurdly profound.
