Six Banzai Bills Onscreen
"When we were developing super mario world, we've always wanted to put six banzai bills onscreen. Unfortunately the SNES wasn't capable of handling such strain, until now. Thanks Vitor Vilela." —Shigeru Miyamoto
A black-and-white image of Shigeru Miyamoto accompanies a fake quote about wanting six Banzai Bills onscreen in Super Mario World, supposedly impossible for the SNES until a modern hacker made it work. The joke parodies official developer commentary and celebrates an extremely niche technical ROM-hacking achievement as if it were Miyamoto’s long-awaited vision.
