Modernity Versus Postmodernity
nity and Postmodernity MODERN POSTMODERN "Onwards and upwards with inevitable progress!" "Bllpppggghljdsldkfjowjefalsk dfjksjdf lksjdl;aldf;lkj;;;;df" -17th centuries • Era that follows
A textbook-style comparison contrasts modernity, shown as a clean arrow pointing upward, with postmodernity, represented by a chaotic scribble and meaningless keyboard-like text. The joke is that modernity is associated with clear, confident progress, while postmodernity is portrayed as incomprehensible confusion and deliberate rejection of order.
