Face Scan Was a Mistake

was face scanning a mistake >Take a selfie 40 times >don't like any of them erase them all >take another 10 pictures >kinda like this one, edit it onto oblivion, erase all the others, upload to social media >why doesn't the face scan look like the irl person???

A side-by-side comparison shows a realistic Lara Croft game model next to a cosplayer portraying her. The joke is that the game’s face scan looks different from the real-life person, despite the character supposedly being based on her likeness. It is used as a reaction to uncanny digital scans, bad likenesses, or unrealistic beauty expectations.
