Profound serenity in NYC

What it means

A series of people energetically dance and move through a crowded New York City subway car while passengers sit around them. The caption humorously calls this chaotic public-transit scene “profound serenity,” made even more ironic by the calm framing and bird-like chirping sounds over the commotion. It works as a reaction to pretending everything is peaceful in a loud, chaotic situation.

Sound

bird vocalization, bird call, bird song bird / птица chirp, tweet
