Ukraine and Russia History Shelves

Text on the meme

Reality. HISTORY HISTORY

What it means

A two-panel illustration shows the same thoughtful bald, bearded man standing in front of history-book shelves. In the Ukrainian-flag panel, the shelves are full, while in the Russian-flag panel, they are empty. The joke sarcastically suggests that Russia has lost or erased its historical record while Ukraine retains it, making it a political reaction meme about competing historical narratives.
