Italian Metro Construction Disaster

Text on the meme

Italians trying to build a metro and finding Roman Artifact for the 100th time

What it means

A man works inside a cramped, brightly decorated room while trying to build a metro, then repeatedly wrecks the interior as if uncovering a Roman artifact. The escalating destruction parodies the stereotype that every Italian construction project uncovers ancient Roman ruins, while the lively Italian Tarentella by Italian Music Players makes the chaos feel like an absurd celebratory dance. The clip works as a reaction to projects that are constantly delayed by unexpected discoveries.
