Stranger Things Season 5 Aging

WILL SEASON 1 WILL SEASON 5 ELEVEN SEASON 1 MIKE SEASON 1 MIKE SEASON 5 HOPPER SEASON 5 DUSTIN SEASON 1 DUSTIN SEASON 5

What it means

A 29-second Stranger Things comparison video shows Will, Eleven, Mike, Hopper, and Dustin in season 1, then cuts to exaggeratedly aged or absurdly recast versions labeled season 5. The joke is that the long wait for the next season has made the characters—and especially Hopper and Dustin—look impossibly old. The dramatic synth music, Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein’s “To Be Continued,” gives the montage an ominous, fatefully delayed feeling that heightens the absurdity.
