Watching a Holocaust Documentary Together

POV: watching a holocaust documentary with your girlfriend

What it means

Dexter Morgan and his girlfriend sit on a couch watching a Holocaust documentary. She becomes increasingly emotional and tearful while Dexter remains unnervingly calm, making the joke about his sociopathic detachment and the dark irony of watching a genocide documentary with a serial killer. The slowed phonk track “AIR STRIKE” by N0RTHB0UND adds ominous, dramatic tension and makes the awkward reaction feel even more absurd.
