I Am an Ultra Liberal

JOYCE MESSIER — "I am the vilest of the vile," she says with a sudden flash of teeth. "A traitor, a devourer of nations and infants..." "I am an Ultra." 1. - "Wait, what's an ultra?" 2. - "Dios mío!" (Draws a cross.) "A LIBERAL!" 3. - "Cool, I *liberate* pretty hard myself." 4. - "I don't understand — what's so vile about that?"

A dark text meme presents Joyce Messier dramatically declaring herself an Ultra, only for the others to misunderstand the term as meaning liberal. The punchline mocks political confusion and the exaggerated reaction to the word "Ultra," making it useful as a reaction to absurd ideological overreactions.
