Toyota Celebrates Another War
Toyota when the UK and US announce another war in the middle east
A fast-cut video montage shows a group of people dancing, laughing, and celebrating energetically indoors and outdoors. The caption jokingly personifies Toyota as being thrilled when the UK and US announce another war in the Middle East, referencing the stereotype that Toyota vehicles are widely used in conflict zones. Lucenzo’s upbeat “Danza Kuduro” featuring Don Omar makes the grim geopolitical premise absurdly celebratory and turns the clip into a dark reaction meme.
