REMEMBER WHAT YOU’RE FIGHTING FOR

What it means

A four-panel collage contrasts a neat suburban neighborhood with a massive traffic jam, shelves of collectible figures, and elderly people waiting in a care home. The joke is that modern life can feel like a bleak fight toward an undesirable future, making the motivational slogan sarcastic and depressing. It is used as a reaction to express disillusionment with conventional goals and the supposedly rewarding life they lead to.
