USS Gerald R. Ford in the Jungle

Text on the meme

USS Gerald R. Ford Strike Group heading to Caribbean

What it means

A soaked indigenous-looking man stares intensely from a jungle scene while an aircraft carrier appears offshore. The joke edits a modern U.S. Navy headline into a scene from a historical jungle film, creating an absurd anachronism. It is used as a reaction to an overwhelming or unexpectedly powerful arrival.
