Girls Can’t Ride Bikes
“girls can’t ride bikes”
A woman stands beside a dirt bike, then puts on a motocross helmet and rides a tiny bicycle toward a ramp. The clip cuts to a nighttime view of a car speeding over the ramp, turning the sexist claim into an absurd escalation: she seemingly rides so hard that the bike becomes a car stunt. The dramatic, melancholic R&B track “Call Out My Name” by The Weeknd makes the ridiculous stunt feel unexpectedly emotional and cinematic.
