Autist Autumn Is Upon Us

AUTIST AUTUM IS UPON US

A masked, scarecrow-like figure stands in an autumn vineyard or field and blows a brass horn while leaves swirl through the air. The caption announces “AUTIST AUTUMN” with a misspelling, turning the arrival of fall into an absurd, bleakly celebratory event; the dark neofolk song “All Pigs Must Die” by Death In June makes the scene feel ominous and ritualistic. It works as a reaction to autumn, seasonal depression, or an intensely dramatic mood.
