Age “What do you wanna do when you grow up?” “Ma’am” -John ODST ORBITAL SHOCK TROOPERS

What it means

A sci-fi video shows armored Halo-style soldiers relaxing together, followed by dramatic shots of orbital shock troopers in combat gear. When asked what he wants to do when he grows up, John ODST answers “Ma’am,” then the montage reveals his absurdly intense career as an Orbital Shock Trooper. Linkin Park’s “Somewhere I Belong” adds a dramatic, angsty mood that makes the deadpan answer and military reveal funnier as a reaction to childhood career questions.
