Boys Watching a Tank Spin

Text on the meme

girls:it's just a tank driving in circles boys:

What it means

A tank drives in tight circles across a muddy field, then the footage crossfades into the intense face of a helmeted soldier while the captions read “girls:it's just a tank driving in circles” and “boys:”. The joke exaggerates how boys can find ordinary military machinery deeply fascinating and dramatic; the mournful Soviet wartime song “Темная ночь” by Марк Бернес makes the spinning tank feel unexpectedly epic and emotional.

Speech

Темная ночь, только пули свистят по степи, только ветер будет в проводах.
