Refuse Storage Instructions
REFUSE TO BE STORED IN BLACK PLASTIC SACKS AND PLACED IN THE CONTAINERS PROVIDED
A sign on a dark green door instructs people to refuse being stored in black plastic sacks and placed in the provided containers. The joke is the absurdly literal wording, making “refuse” sound like a command to reject rubbish rather than the rubbish itself; it is shared as an absurd reaction to confusing instructions.
