Rat Cocaine Level Design
Dopamine levels Light Lever Rat sees light Rat approaches lever Rat presses lever Rat receives cocaine injection Time
A sequence diagram shows a rat seeing a light, approaching and pressing a lever, then receiving a cocaine injection, while dopamine levels rise over time. The joke presents the rat’s reward loop like a carefully designed video-game level, making fun of addictive reinforcement and simplistic game design logic.
