I Wish the Lord Would Take Me Now

Text on the meme

“I love your memes, you must be so fun to hang out with” Me in person: I wish the lord would take me now.

What it means

A tired-looking older woman sits indoors with a deeply miserable expression. The joke contrasts the flattering claim that someone is fun because they make good memes with their gloomy, exhausting personality in real life. It is used as a self-deprecating reaction when someone is much less entertaining offline than online.
