For the first time in the history of video game preservation, in collaboration with Esphotonics, we have etched a game into eternity. We successfully preserved heroes of Might and Magic 3 within a 5D crystal. This isn't just the backup, this is literally the most durable date storage on Earth. This crystal can survive a trip to an oven millions of years of being buried and it is in essence an artifact designed to outlive us all. But here's the crucial part and why GOG preservation program exists. Nothing is preserved forever. Everything is being preserved. That's why dedication, constant work and passion of our community is so crucial. Without this even the most robust solution will eventually fade. That's why we're here to add our stone to the monument of the EA Games preservation. to ensure that the art, the stories, the joy these games bring are never truly lost. And if you'd like to learn more about the crystal itself, be sure to visit YouTube channel of our partner Espatonis. And that's it for today. I'm Zazanna. And I'm Olo. And this was GOG Preservation News.
