date idea btw

What it means

A man and woman go on an increasingly strange date: driving around, walking through a forest and industrial area, wandering through a restaurant, and ending with surreal dark scenes. The repeated caption “date idea btw” turns ordinary romantic plans into an eerie, absurd montage, made even more unsettling by Angelo Badalamenti’s dreamy, ominous Laura Palmer’s Theme.
