Miyazaki's Sacred Feet

Explain the lore behind Miyazaki's foot fetish. To be honest, you'd think the foot fetish would have a complex deep explanation, but the simple answer is that Miyazaki likes feet. Now, he has never confirmed his foot admiration, but it's undeniable for the dedicated observer. Feet are everywhere in every aspect of the game, and often they are in focus during cutscenes. Feet are everywhere, Soulation. In the souls world, feet are the most important, most sacred thing there is. The feet fetish is integral to Miyazaki's creation of these games. Without Miyazaki's foot fetish, dark souls wouldn't be dark souls. The game is built on these sacred feet.

A screenshot of a dark-mode comment thread jokingly explaining the supposed lore behind Hidetaka Miyazaki's alleged foot fetish. The absurd punchline is that the Dark Souls games are secretly built around feet, parodying overconfident video game lore analysis and fan theories. It is used as a reaction to exaggerated explanations of a creator's artistic choices.
