No Heroic Death for Bam Margera

Text on the meme

We live in an age in which there is no heroic de— CELEBRITY NEWS Bam Margera threatens to smoke crack ‘until I’m dead’ unless he sees son

What it means

A black-and-white video begins with a serious-looking man delivering the dramatic line “We live in an age in which there is no heroic de—” before cutting to a news headline about Bam Margera threatening to smoke crack until he dies unless he sees his son. It then shows Bam Margera, hooded and visibly grim, walking down an alley while Yoshihisa Hirano’s “Kingdom of Predators” plays. The grand, ominous music turns the chaotic celebrity-news story into an absurdly epic tragedy, making the clip work as a reaction to melodramatic or self-destructive behavior.
