Serena Went Home to This Guy

Text on the meme

Was gonna say “what’s wrong with marrying a Discord mod” but then I looked him up and he literally founded Reddit Serena Williams crip walked "for the culture" then went home to this guy

What it means

A photo shows Serena Williams walking beside her husband, Alexis Ohanian, on outdoor steps. The joke contrasts her celebratory “crip walk” with the unexpected fact that she married the man who founded Reddit, framing him as an extremely online Discord-mod type. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to an unexpectedly unglamorous or nerdy romantic partner. EN: A photo shows Serena Williams walking beside her husband, Alexis Ohanian, on outdoor steps.
