PS5 Five Years After Launch

PS2 one year after release: PS5 five years after launch: SONY PS2 PlayStation 2 FALL AND HOLIDAY 2001 EXCLUSIVE SOFTWARE TITLES Demon's Souls

The meme compares the PlayStation 2 one year after release, surrounded by a large lineup of games, with the PlayStation 5 five years after launch, shown with a sparse and chaotic selection of content. The joke is that the PS2 had a much stronger and more abundant game library early in its life, while the PS5 is portrayed as disappointing and lacking major exclusives. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to complaints about the PS5 generation and its slow release schedule.
