Oh No, It’s the Fiction Police
GAME DEV OH NO! IT'S THE FICTION POLICE!
A cartoon game developer panics and salutes while shouting that the fiction police have arrived, with Sonic the Hedgehog standing below. The joke mocks people who aggressively police fictional stories, characters, or creative choices as if they were enforcing real-world laws. It is used as a reaction to excessive criticism or overanalysis of fictional media.
